About Us

Anna is a Registered Dietitian (License #879) and co-founder of Nova Nutrition SK, based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. She also has a degree in Food and Bioproduct Science. She provides compassionate, evidence-based nutrition counselling for all ages. Anna's primary focuses are eating disorders & disordered eating, restrictive eating & chronic dieting, digestive health, life transitions and improving relationships with food and body.

Anna’s background and approach include:

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Nutrition and Dietetics - University of Saskatchewan

• Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (BSA) in Food & Bioproduct Science - University of Saskatchewan

• Years of clinical experience including: medical nutrition support (tube feeds), oncology nutrition, pediatric nutrition & growth concerns, chronic diseases, general nutrition 

• Supporting individuals in pediatric and adult acute care, including medically complex patients of all ages across clinical settings

• Health at Every Size® (HAES) and non-diet approach

• Focus on individualized, collaborative, and client-centered care

• FBT (Family Based Therapy) Trained

Anna enjoys all things creative and crafty, cooking & baking, gardening, camping, and being outdoors as much as possible.

Katia Hucl is a Registered Dietitian (License #782) and co-founder of Nova Nutrition SK, based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. She provides compassionate, practical, evidence-based nutrition counselling. Katia works with children, adolescents, and adults. Her primary focus is navigating eating disorders, disordered eating, restrictive eating, ARFID, and feeding-related concerns.

Katia’s background and approach include:

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Nutrition and Dietetics - University of Saskatchewan

• Pediatric and adult acute care, including medically complex patients of all ages 

• Providing nutrition counselling for those with co-occurring mental health challenges

• Health at Every Size® (HAES), non-diet, and neuroaffirming approach

• Experience and training re: supporting children and youth with Family-Based Treatment for Anorexia (FBT)

• Training in CBT-E

• Completed  training "Inclusive Approaches to Supporting Neurodivergent Children with Feeding Challenges and ARFID"

In her spare time you can find Katia walking her big dog, trying new foods recommended by her clients, gardening, planning a home reno,  and dabbling in ceramics.
